Girls Hoop Camp

Hours: 8:30-11:30am Grades 3rd-5th (Session 1)
1:00-4:00pm Grades 6th-9th (Session 2)
Cost: $115 If You Register Before June 1st
$125 For Registration After June 1st

Oregon State Youth Camp is an instructional camp designed to promote interest and skill development in the game of basketball. Our goal is to introduce basic fundamentals and provide each child with a fun and positive basketball experience. We want your child to leave camp loving basketball and wanting to learn more.

Who Can Register?
- Girls entering 3rd-9th grade
Activities Will Include:
- Ball Handling
- Passing
- Shooting
- Relays
- Shooting Competitions
- On Ball Defense
- 1v1 3v3 5v5
Cost Includes:
- T-shirt for each individual
What To Bring:
- Please arrive ready to participate in physical activity. Wear clothes and shoes that you can run in.
- Water Bottle w/ Camper’s Initials
Registration & Directions:
- The first three days of camp (June 19-21) will be held in Dixon Recreation Center on the campus of OSU. Dixon Recreation center is located at 425 SW 26th Street in Corvallis, Oregon. Entry is on the north side of the building, directly across from the outdoor recreation complex. Registration will begin 15 minutes prior to the start of camp on June 19th (8:15am and 12:45pm) on the upstairs basketball courts in Dixon Recreation Center. See Parking & Maps to locate Dixon Recreation Center as well as locations to park.
- The final day of camp (June 22) will be held in Gill Coliseum located on the corner of 26th & Washington in Corvallis, Oregon.
- Campers should be picked up no more than 15 minutes after camp ends each day.
Personalized Instruction:
OSU Women’s basketball head coach, Scott Rueck, and his staff will oversee all aspects of the camp, emphasizing individual instruction, and offensive and defensive concepts to utilize in game situations.
Insurance & Medical Care:
Each camper must be covered by their parent’s insurance before participating in any of the camp activities. This form must be signed and received by our camp staff before your child can participate in any camp activities. Once you have filled out the insurance form please drop off at the Women’s Basketball office or mail to:
